Soloist: Oliver Aldort, cello W. Mozart - Don Giovanni Overture A. Dvorak - Cello Concerto F. Haydn - Symphony No. 83
Oliver Aldort (14), has been a soloist with orchestras in Washington, Massachusetts, and British Columbia. He has played the Saint Saens, Haydn, and Schumann cello concertos and Mozart's two late piano concertos. Oliver will be appearing with the Seattle Symphony later this concert season. He has appeared on KOMO TV. From his debut recital at the age of seven (after one year of lessons), Oliver's love of performing has only increased. The Carlsen Foundation in recognition of his talent and dedication to music has awarded Oliver's full-size cello to him.
