The ability to effectively serve all individuals is impacted by critical aspects of institutional power, privilege and prejudice.
The goal of this seminar is to build a foundation for understanding cultural competency as a means for developing equitable systems that promote social justice.
- Examine institutional racism to address racial tension and conflict.
- Identify tools and principles that improve effectiveness, equity and morale in a multicultural environment.
- Develop skills and strategies to enhance cross-cultural relationships.
- Facilitate sustainable organizational change to ensure provisions of culturally competent services.

SU student/alumni/employees: $100
Three or more seminars: $100 each
Price includes lunch. All proceeds benefit the MPA/MNPL scholarship fund.
