Mind Body and Soul Productions presents " She is Not Who I Thought... She Is My Mother", a spectacular stage performance mounting with secrets, and bursting in revelations. Ann Thomas is the writer, director, and producer of this prestigious event. It will be held Saturday May 3, 2008 at Tampa Bay Technical High School. The location is 6410 Orient Road Tampa, Fl 33610 in the Auditorium Theater. Doors open at 5:30pm and will promptly close at 6:30pm.
"She Is Not Who I Thought... She is My Mother" is the perfect kick off for Mothers Day this year . 3 mothers, 3 decisions, 1 hope. They love their children with all their hearts, but each hide a deep secret to protect them. When the secrets are revealed, feelings are torn, and trust becomes an issue. Can forgiveness and healing overcome this?

As the Director of this stage play, Ann is surrounded by a talented team to include David and Duane Hogg, Assistant Directors, and a dynamic African American cast from diverse backgrounds.

Ann Thomas has performed in various stage plays in High School and local churches, is a writer, inspirational speaker, singer, rapper, and former dancer. She is the published author of various short stories, poems, articles, and mini productions.
Ann Thomas has resided in the Tampa Bay area for over 20 years. She is originally from Antigua, West Indies. " I recently began exposing my sons (15 & 11) to the performing arts via musicals, stage plays, comedy, etc. and they are in awe of the incredible talent and impactful messages these performances offer. The Arts tell a story and touches all lives, no matter the age, ethnicity, or gender." Thomas stated. " With that said, there is a great lack in the Tampa Bay area for regular stage plays that are designed to impact the lives of families, transform relationships, and provide a hope. People in the Tampa Bay area want more of this type of venue and their hunger was evident when I had numerous actors respond to our various auditions".
