JOB SUMMARY: Performs technical fingerprint, photographic, video and computer graphic tasks related to criminal investigation. Identifies, documents, collects, and preserves physical and biological evidence. Performs laboratory analysis for developing latent fingerprints by using conventional techniques. Performs fingerprint comparisons associated with the investigation and prosecution of criminal cases. Representative Duties Conducts complex crime scene investigations and utilizes specialized techniques in recognizing, searching, documenting, collecting and preserving physical and biological evidence such as fingerprints, DNA, firearms evidence, plant material, blood spatters, tool mark, and tire track impressions.
Makes casts of footprints and other impression evidence.
Documents crime scene utilizing conventional, digital photography including forensic videotaping.
Performs crime scene sketching and diagraming with the assistance of computer aided software.
Performs field and laboratory analysis of physical evidence collected at crime scenes and performs subsequent chemical processing for the detection of latent fingerprints, including laser applications such as the use of alternate light sources (ALS).
Performs presumptive chemical analysis on various types of substances including blood, semen and saliva.
Produces and stores digital photography using digital image archiving software, video storage. Produces crime scene charts and enlargements.
Testifies in court as an expert witness in the areas of latent fingerprint analysis, crime scene investigation including the documentation, collection, and preservation of crime scene evidence and/or the results of forensic examination/findings.
Processes and compares fingerprints found at crime scenes and coordinates with representatives of other law enforcement agencies in the identification of suspects through comparison of fingerprints and in the use of Automated Finger Print Identification Systems (AFIS) and the CAL-ID AFIS system and Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS).
Prepares court exhibits to depict crime scenes, including latent print comparison charts.
Prepares detailed reports of crime scene investigation and of the forensic analysis performed.
Conducts training programs.
Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Education, Training, and Experience:
Graduation from high school or equivalent. Four years of recent, paid work experience performing fingerprint identification and related photographic work and processing crime scenes for physical evidence. An Associate's degree in criminal justice or forensic science or 30 semester units of college level course work in fingerprint classification and identification or a closely related field will substitute for two years of the required work experience. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Forensic Science or a closely related field will substitute for the four years of required work experience.
Licenses and Certificates:
Possession of a valid Class C driver license.

If selected, you will join a well-respected team in the Division of Examinations that is responsible for the examination of firms engaged in the use of crypto asset securities.
Typical duties include:
Managing a team of examiners with various levels of experience and professional backgrounds to conduct examinations of securities-related financial institutions registered with the SEC such as broker-dealers and investment advisers; Executing risk-based examination plans, which frequently involves: (i) analyzing registrant's operations and procedures, trading practices, supervisory systems, risk management systems, books and records, and financial statements, (ii) investigating new financial products, and/or(iii) interviewing principals of registrants,; and Developing recommendations and reports, presenting and defending findings, and collaborating as required with key stakeholders of the examination process, including internal divisions and offices (e.g. Division of Trading and Markets and Office of International Affairs), and other US and foreign regulators. Direct employees responsible for performing examinations, development of analytical tools, and related tasks related to crypto asset securities; Develop and maintain relationships with other programs in the Division of Examinations, as well as with other SEC Divisions and Offices and other securities regulators; Conduct interviews of registrant personnel, review examination-related documents, perform research and analysis, and develop recommendations related to findings or issues encountered; and supervise other examination staff performing these duties; Draft and edit precise and well-organized documents such as risk assessment reports, request lists, examination workpapers and memoranda, and correspondence regarding findings and conclusions; As required, work with senior staff to develop and respond to questions on processes, procedures, and policy; and Collaborate with other team members. The shared services team includes three unique and boundary pushing teams – Jazz, Chamber, Classical New Music; Comedy and Institutional Programming; and Hip Hop Culture and Contemporary Music, allowing for exciting cross-discipline collaboration with an emphasis on work with Artistic Directors Renée Fleming, Jennifer Koh, Jason Moran, and Q-Tip. The Programming Assistant Manager for Jazz, Chamber, and Classical New Music will primarily support the administrative aspects of the Jazz, Chamber, and Classical New Music Departments, managing the day-to-day operations under the Senior Director of Programming for Jazz, Chamber, Classical New Music. This position is essential in furthering the Jazz department’s mission to highlight both legendary musicians and up and coming talent, and the Chamber and Classical New Music seasons to further expand and feature the diversity within the chamber music field. This position reports directly to the Manager, Programming. Although this position will primarily focus on specific disciplines and programs, the ecosystem of the shared services team requires staff to work across all three departments as assigned by the Manager, Programming, learning about each genre while assisting with show duty, festivals, internally produced performances and/or events, and other large-scale projects. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Act as line producer for performances, festivals, and other Kennedy Center events including, but not limited to artist advance, contracting, artist payments, and liaising with relevant internal departments (Production, Box Office, Marketing, PR, etc.) for productions in the Concert Hall, Eisenhower Theater, Opera House, Terrace Theater, Family Theater, REACH Campus, and virtual offerings. Day-to-day management and administrative support for the Jazz, Chamber, Classical New Music departments under the direction of the Senior Director of Programming for Jazz, Chamber, Classical New Music; and the Manager, Programming. Company management including arranging travel, housing, and hospitality for visiting artists when required. Communicate confirmed programming information to marketing and confirmed production information to production. Research, ideate, and assist towards implementation thereof, of artists, themes, and concepts as they pertain to Jazz, Chamber, and Classical New Music programming. Attend live performances of new products whenever possible. Payroll processing for all union and non-union employees working on produced shows. General correspondence and other duties as assigned. Other duties as assigned. Key Qualifications A bachelor’s degree is encouraged for this position. Minimum of three years’ work experience in a related field. Knowledge of a foreign language, especially Italian, French, German or Spanish encouraged. Must be extremely detail-oriented, have excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment, work well under pressure and be able to meet deadlines. Proficiency in Asana, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access. Must be comfortable working with well-known performing artists. The position requires availability on some evenings and weekends.
