RECRUITING: Authors, Poets, Storytellers, Journalists and Book Clubbers of ALL CULTURES to participate on Thursday evening, November 2nd (7-9:30PM) and/or Friday during the school day, November 3rd (10:20AM12:20 noon) at our 3rd annual Meadowcreek HS Literary Festival. We cordially invite you to help us promote and celebrate literacy by interacting with MHS students, parents and children of our community. Meadowcreek HS is comprised of 2500+ students from more than sixty countries (predominantly Hispanic and African American.) Our students must understand the value of reading: for literacy, for information, and for enjoyment. We want to bring writers and lovers of good writing face-to-face with our teenagers who need to become creators and lovers of the written word themselves. We sincerely hope that you will consider participating in our 'Creek Mustangs Love to Read' Festival and contribute to the success of our program this year. Angela Reid
