Major Responsibilities:

Responsible for providing support to the local Operating Companies on issues related to network planning, engineering design, and engineering consulting.
Responsible for developing and participation in the successful completion of Network Services and Technology Organization initiatives.
Perform end-to-end troubleshooting for data and wireless networks.
The technology areas that may be in scope for this position include all technologies owned by Network Services.
Network Services owns all data network technologies, which includes network routing protocols, quality of service, MPLS, core data center and wide area data network routing and switching, integration of our network with an internet service provider, establishment of VPNs (virtual private networks), voice call management, VOIP (voice over IP), voice contact center, video infrastructure technology, remote wireless routers, wireless LAN, and firewalls.
Must Have Requirements:
24/7 on call support experience.
Wireless LAN Engineering and support experience/exposure. (5+ years preferred).

Essential Functions
Environmental Health & Safety is a consulting and compliance organization within and for the university. We ensure that our university is a safe place for education, research, extracurricular activities, and for some, a place to live. The Safety Specialist II will assist the director in developing, implementing, managing, and documenting compliance with state, federal, and local laws, regulations, and codes in safety, health, and environmental protection. We investigate accidents. The risk management functions also reside in the department. We will integrate with all aspects and functions of the University to provide a safe, healthy learning and working environment for our students, faculty, staff, and guests. This is a varied and fast-paced job that will provide a broad spectrum of all of these fields.
• Environmental compliance includes compliance with the Clean Water Act, our MS4 program operation. Proper waste management in compliance with RCRA, SARA title IV, for solid, hazardous, biomedical, and universal waste generated by campus operation or research. Clean Air Act Title V compliance. Mold, lead, and asbestos management. DOT and IAUDA shipping compliance of dangerous goods. Hazardous spill cleanup.
• Occupational safety duties from risk assessments and job hazard analysis, PPE, accident investigation to remediation of conditions and workers compensation across all aspects of the University. To develop plans, procedures, policy, guidelines, training and compliance standards to assist student, faculty and staff. Oversight of the occupational medical operations and surveillance.
• Fire life safety inspection oversight and testing of systems, buildings, events, and wildfire risks.
• Lab Safety includes chemical safety, biological safety, waste management, laser safety, radiation safety, and IACUC compliance.
• Risk management - accident investigation, filing insurance, certificate of insurance tracking, Coordinating and obtaining insurance coverage for events and activities.
• Coordination with UT System RMO for claims.
• Oversight of construction safety not covered by UT System construction.
• Oversight and inspection of ADA compliance in our buildings.
• Investigation and development in evolving health issues
Required Qualifications
1. High school diploma diploma or G.E.D. and have attended college. 2. Three years of direct experience in an area specific to the position. 3. Must be able to qualify and pass the university's authorized driving program.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Associates degree in engineering, safety, industrial hygiene, chemistry, biology, physics, environmental science, or other related field. 2. Bachelor's degree in engineering, safety, industrial hygiene, chemistry, biology, physics, environmental science, or other related fields. 3. OSHA 10-30 hour certification in Construction or General Industry Safety. 4. 30-Hour HAZWOPER training to First Responder Operations Level. 5. RCRA Trained. 6. Minimum Qualifications:

• Monitor website, campaign, and app performance using Google's suite of tools including, but not limited to, Analytics, Data Studio, Tag Manager, and Firebase.
• Manage the app and website's platform integrations, working with developers to enhance functionality when needed.
• Report website and campaign performance to senior management.
• Regularly survey patrons to monitor satisfaction levels with the center.
• Research industry and digital marketing trends, both locally and globally, to make strategic marketing decisions that will best impact the center.
• Identify and understand key audiences for marketing communication efforts and work with the Marketing Team to develop a communications strategy that aligns target audiences with revenue goals.
• Lead and empower the student ambassador team.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree with a preference in Marketing, Communications, or related field. • 5+ years of previous experience. • Superb oral and written communication skills, including negotiating vendor agreements. • Strong project management skills. • Highly skilled at prioritizing projects and working collaboratively within a complex, dynamic environment. • Knowledgeable about brand management best practices. • Experience using HTML and a working knowledge of CSS. • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically but not limited to, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, and Lightroom. • Must have extensive experience with website content management systems and working with website integrations, plugins, and APIs. • Experienced in crafting engaging social media content to increase awareness and drive sales. • Comfortable working with Google Analytics, especially GA4. • Experience in digital media planning and buying. • Familiarity with email marketing principles, including automated/dynamic email campaigns and personalization. • Experienced in developing and working within specified budgets specifically related to digital media planning and buying. • Experience managing and directing a team.

• Google Ads, database management, project management (PMP), SQL, HTML, and CSS.
