  BANDthology returns for its second year, bringing together two of the Bay Area's finest volunteer ensembles for one spectacular concert. The San Jose Metropolitan Band, under Ken Nakamoto, and the San Francisco Brass Band, under Dr. Jeff DeSeriere, share the stage in a celebration of musical artistry and community spirit.

Each band brings its own distinctive theme to the performance: SJMB invites audiences into a world of Mystique and Whimsy, filled with color, imagination, and surprise, while SFBB journeys Eternal Light, exploring music that rises from shadow to brilliance. Together, the programs weave a powerful and uplifting experience that showcases the diversity, depth, and joy of wind and brass music.
