Join Marin-based photographer and printmaker Ben Davidson and photo teacher and artist Laurie Reemsnyder for a creative printmaking workshop using botanical material gathered from the garden grounds and Marin's hills and forests.
We will start with a 20-minute "foraging" walk around the 11-acre garden, then head to the Livermore Pavilion for a 60 minute printmaking session using either the cyanotype (photo) process on sunny days or stencil prints if it's overcast. Just in time for the holidays, you'll make notecards perfect for gifts and giving, using fun seasonal items to make your creations unique.
All participants receive a festive wooden frame to showcase their print creation from this fun and informative nature walk and printmaking workshop.
