Ready to build confidence and sharpen your American Mahjongg skills? This coached play session is designed for players who already know the basics and want guided practice in a supportive, social setting.

Kim Nash of Mahj on My Mind will circulate throughout the room, offering tips on strategy, Charleston decisions, defensive play, and reading the card-while answering questions in real time. You'll learn how to think through hands more effectively, avoid common mistakes, and improve your overall game.

This is perfect for advancing beginners and intermediate players looking to gain confidence and play more fluidly and anyone wanting practice with the 2026 NMJL card.

Come solo or with friends and we'll find you a seat at the table.

Mahjong sets will be provided. Bring your 2026 NMJL card if you have one. Extras will be on-hand and available for purchase.

Prerequisite: Completion of a beginner class or familiarity with the basics of American Mahjong.
