Info:
This virtual introductory workshop provides artists and arts workers with a foundational understanding of the grant writing process. Facilitated by artist and arts administrator Eric Garcia, the workshop offers step-by-step guidance for finding and navigating funding opportunities, understanding application requirements, developing strong grant materials, and building confidence in seeking support for creative projects. Designed for people who are new to grant writing or looking to strengthen their foundational skills, the workshop emphasizes practical tools and approaches that participants can apply to future funding opportunities. The workshop has a particular emphasis on live performance, though artists and arts workers from all disciplines are welcome. This workshop takes place virtually via Zoom. The meeting link will be provided upon registration. Live auto-captioning will be available. Detour Productions offers sliding-scale tuition and No One Turned Away for Lack of Funds. Participants seeking a NOTAFLOF registration code or wishing to share access needs may contact directors@detour.productions.
