Info:
Director Daniel Burman has long been considered the Woody Allen of Argentina. In this film Ariel is a recent college dropout with hopes of escaping a career behind the counter of his mother’s lingerie store in a Buenos Aires shopping mall. His long-lost father is about to return. Ariel’s father, Elias, left Argentina to fight in the Yom Kippur war but never returned. Ultimately Ariel will have to learn to accept a long-overdue embrace that has been lost to him for so long. "Lost Embrace" has won many awards, including Best Actor and the Jury Grand Prize at last year’s Berlin International Film Festival.
