Houston’s Latino cultural arts theatre, Talento Bilingüe de Houston (TBH), will hold its annual gala outside of its theater facilities at the stylish Houstonian Hotel on Friday, September 24, 2010. Guests will be treated to a colorful array of entertainment options, including an opportunity to bid on an especially created painting by celebrated visual artist Laura Lopez Cano. Guests will have chance find a stunning loose diamond in their glass when they purchase a limited edition champagne flute. Attendees will be regaled by Houston Grand Opera artist Cecilia Duarte who will perform Spanish arias and songs from HGO’s 40th world premiere, A Way Home. Following a seated dinner, guests will dance the night away. For details, sponsorship opportunities or to R.S.V.P., contact Amira Gongora at 713-222-1213 or amira@tbhcenter.org.
