 The Candace Anderson Mystery Illness (CAMI) Foundation

The CAMI Foundation is a non-profit organization named in honor of Candace Anderson who has a mystery illness. Before becoming completely incapacitated, Candace was determined to pursue her education at any cost despite her physical disability and her failing health. In honor of Candace and her love and passion for education the CAMI Foundation is dedicated to providing scholarships to at risk Georgia students that have demonstrated academic excellence or financial need.

The Clinton School of Public Service offers the only Masters Degree in Public Service in the United States. We are looking for well-qualified students who are interested in building global leadership in issues related to equity--notably with respect to community and economic development, social change to better the lives of local residents, civic engagement to give voice to those who are powerless, and enhancing the the capacity of people to work across disciplinary, racial/ethnic, and geographic boundaries.

 Hodges Health Career - Care Domains - Model (United Kingdom)

Hodges’ Health Career (Care Domains) Model provides a conceptual framework upon which health care professionals can map a patient’s care problems, across four knowledge domains: Interpersonal; Sociological; Scientific; & Political (Autonomy). Patients and their carers may also be taught to use the model, enabling engagement, understanding and concordance in care planning and outcome evaluation. Brian Hodges' original notes, a resources page and links (800+) are included.  Miss/Ms Black Georgia USA Scholarship Foundation

The Miss/Ms Black USA Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit entity designed to develop, celebrate, and assist with the educational goals of African-American women. The Miss/Ms Black USA Scholarship Foundation believes minority women should be economically empowered, politically astute, spiritually centered, and civic minded. The competitions allow contestants to begin building a foundation from which to cultivate each of those traits. The Miss Black Georgia USA Pageant and Miss Black Georgia Teen Pageant provides opportunities for young women in Georgia to impact their community, receive scholarships for school, learn more about themselves and increase their self-awareness. This statewide competition is more than just a beauty pageant; it is an elegant and memorable event that provides a platform for young women to teach a child to read through our literary outreach programs.

 Council for Opportunity in Education

The Council for Opportunity in Education is a nonprofit organization, established in 1981, dedicated to furthering the expansion of educational opportunities throughout the United States. Through its numerous membership services, the Council works in conjunction with colleges, universities, and agencies that host TRIO Programs to specifically help low-income Americans enter college and graduate.

 Be Someone (We Teach Children to Think, One Move at a Time!)

Be Someone, Inc., a nonprofit organization where the main focus is to teach children to think by providing them with a structured way to learn how to use their minds through chess. Chess helps develop other skills as well, such as patience, planning, concentration and following rules. It teaches that there are consequences for any action taken. It reinforces lessons of responsibility. It also teaches that winning isn't everything; sometimes losing can be an important instrument for improvement. This organization is geared towards motivating children as well as adults to "Be Someone."

 National Black Prosecutors Association

The NBPA is committed to the recruitment, training, and career advancement of minority attorneys as prosecutors at all levels of government. “It is to ensure not only retention of Blacks in prosecution, but also to correct the dramatic inequity that exists with respect to black representation in the executive ranks of prosecutor's offices. A further goal is to recruit, train, and mentor younger aspiring lawyers for leadership roles in the years ahead
