The TUL YPN mission is to support the objectives of the Triangle Urban League; to engage young professionals; and to improve the quality of life for African American citizens in the Triangle through economic empowerment, civic engagement, and professional leadership development programs.
Vision
The vision of the TUL YPN is to become the foremost authority in the region for citizens and institutions (public, private, and nonprofit) seeking to bridge the opportunity gaps that exist between African Americans and the Triangle mainstream community.

LEAP’s mission is to achieve full participation and equality for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders through leadership, empowerment, and policy.
Since its founding in 1982, Leadership Education for Asian Pacifics, Inc. (LEAP) has been intent on "growing leaders" within the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities across the country. When LEAP opened its doors 25 years ago, it had a simple yet powerful idea: that in order for AAPI communities to realize their full potential and to foster robust participation in the larger democratic process, those communities would have to begin producing leaders who could advocate and speak on their behalf. |

The Council was formed with the purpose of unification regardless of race and/or denomination. In 2004, U.U.M.A. new lifecycle of mega change began with a name change to the United Unmarried Ministries of America, Inc.
The ministry focus is to become a national Leadership Consortium which trains, equips and coaches Singles Adult Ministry leaders by providing leadership resources and tools needed to do ministry better. |

Founded in 1977 in Washington, D.C., as a confederation of civil rights and service organizations, by a nucleus of 11 leaders of organizations which included the National Urban League, National Urban Coalition, NAACP, Southern Christian Leadership Conference, Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, National Council of Negro Women, NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Martin Luther King Center for Non Violent Social Change, Congressional Black Caucus, National Conference of Black Mayors and the National Business League. |
