Org Synopsis 

Serenity's Nest provides training to youth in the area of socialization (social skills), health and wellness. Our goal is to provide the training for free to participants as much as possible.

Our 1st major event-

Serenity’s Nest Educational and Social Services is holding its first workshop for youth on October 29, 2011 at Ezion Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, Wilmington, DE. The focus of this training is to impart the importance of being professional, even as a student, in order to successfully enter the employment world.
We will have two speakers. One speaker is the principal of an inner city elementary school in Wilmington, DE. He will discuss work habits students should incorporate now that will be beneficial in the business world. In addition, this speaker will be talking from the stand point of an employer who consistently is a part the hiring process for his building. Also, we will have a motivational speaker with a background in Human Resources discuss the importance of having a pleasant and appropriate disposition (intellectually, emotionally, and mentally).
This workshop is for anyone in junior high school or older (adults are welcomed but limited in number of seats available). Space is limited therefore, registration is on a first come, first serve basis. For more information, email Keisha Williams at serenitysnestinc@yahoo.com.
