Dear Friend,
It is our honor and pleasure to invite you to attend the 23rd Annual Conference, presented by the Black Business Students Association of Columbia Business School, on Friday, November 5th, 2004.
This year's conference theme, The Middle Game: Beyond the Next Move, refers to the stage during the game of chess where both players define strategies beyond their next move to reach their end goal. Analogous to one's career, as business professionals, we need to ensure that our ultimate occupational goal is both defined and attainable by our career choices and professional strategy. By staying focused during The Middle Game, we can ensure that each move is a step in the right direction toward our intended destination. Notable speakers and professionals will gather on this day and gain from each other's insights and experiences from their respective worlds of international markets, politics, real estate, entrepreneurship, media, and wealth creation.
