ITFlorida’s annual High Tech Summit brings together technology leaders from across the state to share their insights on the critical technology issues facing Florida, and to provide feedback to Governor Bush and the Florida Legislature on policies to advance Florida's high tech economy. Feedback from conference participants is used to develop ITFlorida's annual report to the Legislature. Through a series of interactive presentations and panel sessions, participants will have an opportunity to learn from industry experts and government leaders about the latest challenges, legislative issues and technology trends facing Florida’s IT professionals. This year’s event will feature an opening reception on the evening of February 22, and a full day of sessions, workshops and presentations on February 23. Topics to be covered include: Access, Digital Divide and Infrastructure Workforce, Education and Economic Development Homeland Security Issues/Policies and Disaster Recovery Case Studies.
