Dr. Carmen Inoa Vasquez, with over 25 years' experience as a clinical psychologist, teacher and researcher and a noted authority on Latin American and bicultural mental health, is the co-author of "The Maria Paradox," which explores the specific issues faced by Latin and bicultural women. In this workshop we will examine how certain cultural values affect women and present conflicts in the performance if their daily roles. We will also provide the best options to help them regain a good sense of self-worth and empowerment. This workshop is geared toward healthcare professionals as well as court professional working with families.
