This free two-day event will be held at Mission San José from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on October 30 and 31st. The park will have activities and exhibits to explain the history behind Day of the Dead, including its symbols and the relevance it holds in our communities today. This special holiday is celebrated by certain cultures throughout the world with traditions that have been passed down through generations. It commemorates loved ones by celebrating their life and remembering the things they loved.
