In correlation with the Slavery in New York exhibition, The New-York Historical Society presents a discussion of women in the antislavery movement led by George Mason University Professor, Lois Horton. The discussion will explore women as organizers, lecturers, fundraisers, and activists in the American antebellum anti-slavery movement. Program starts at 6:30 pm and admission is $12 for adults and $6 for members, educators, students, and seniors.
