In the spirit of summer, on Fridays the city of Boston offers the chance to watch great films free in the inspiring surroundings of the Hatch Memorial Shell. Situated on the esplanade of the Charles River, the Shell is a great place to catch the breeze and watch a movie under the stars.
Grab a blanket and a picnic and head down to the river. The only drawback is that it's a bit of a lottery as to what you'll be seeing, as the film titles are only announced one day prior to being shown.
