Israel's acclaimed Inbal Pinto Dance Company creates an eerily beautiful world within a snow globe with its evening-length work "Shaker," presented by San Francisco Performances. The soundtrack includes music by Purcell, Chopin and Bryars, as well as Japanese pop songs and Swedish folk music.
In addition to the two full-length performances, the Company also presents an hour-long Family Matinee: 2 p.m. Saturday, October 11, at Novellus Theater at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.
Part of a new generation of Israeli choreographers, Co-Artistic Directors Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak formed Inbal Pinto Dance Company in 1992.
