Interested in getting started with social media and making instant business referral connections? PATCA's March dinner meeting features a return visit by member Helen Kennedy, of Kennedy Consulting Services LLC. Plan to bring your laptop, connect to popular social media sites, and initiate some active online networking with other attendees.
This is a hands-on, how-to workshop that promises to be fun and highly interactive. In recent months, PATCA has presented a number of programs focusing on social media, outlining the power and reach of real-time conversational tools. Kennedy will facilitate a session in which PATCA members and guests can jump online and make connections with each other, and with our organization.
In this session we will:
* See an overview of how PATCA is using social media. * Understand public vs. private personas, and why it is important that your consulting practice have its own identity. * Establish the basics. Social media novices will start by creating accounts on Facebook, Linked In, and Twitter. * Connect with PATCA members to initiate conversations that create awareness and drive referrals. * Identify ways to link your social media tools to save time, yet still have an active presence.
This is a marketing-focused session designed to activate the PATCA member network online and start a robust conversation with fellow consultants.
Attendees are responsible for the security of their own computers and data. A wireless network will be provided by the meeting facility, and participants will establish their own connections.
