HUGEAUX PHOTOGRAPHY: Preface & Text - A Key in the York Part 1

To refresh my ideas beyond the ordinary, I was inspired to observe space and to breathe deeply as I try and observe beauty without boundaries. I began to round up ideas to compare how these two tourist cities refresh their visions every second.

As a guest of a guest, I observed how traditions are interwoven in a display of architectural steeples, angles and human closeness. From the graceful swaying of the coconut palms to the graceful rolling of the human traffic I can not help but notice the exquisite subtle detail and balance of these water coast cities.

The intricate complements the cosmopolitan as the sumptuous highlights the tropical. In creating these contemporary classic photographs, I drew my inspiration from the bravura of Art Deco and Island Hopping. 360 degrees are the monogram one wears while streamlining these majestic wonderlands. Vintage and modern are hidden beneath each other. These cities mirror each other.

Standing in the midst of time and circumstances, I contemplated which or when shall I alter my approach to this photo-journal. Two principal themes governed my approach. The first principal was to introduce a thematic transition of moving through the cities, if they were renamed. The second principal, to create an improvisation of an altered reality.

A symbolic struggle exists between the two cities. I had to trust my spiritual connection and understand the history of both cities as revealed through the lens. This duo conception of developing a chord between the two cities is a rare desire to maintaining their equilibrium. To depict the openness and mood changes, symbolized to me the chaos and potential attraction of trying to exist in a coherent existence.

Man and architecture are soloing within the pulse of these cities. Exploration is measured by the not perfection, as it is by the suggested balance. The frailty of their imperfections portrays their strengths and weaknesses. I felt the relentless rhythm of hope and pathos.

These human agricultural wonderlands, with their kindled histories, gives each city a youthful retirement. Half the pleasure of this photo-journey was trying to establish an aroma for each city, while attempting to define their characters. What I stumbled upon was a chunk of rectangles amidst triangles.

As the natural lighting peeks and sneaks behind structures, I could not help but notice how the modern silhouettes illuminated those suspended shadows. Aesthetic beauty hung like chandeliers supported by the sky. The natural light filtered through the curves, wrought iron and concrete of these opaque paradises of antiquity. Mobile visionary is connected with the Internet’s capability to produce an ingenuity of imagery and dialogue. The efficiency of the Internet and these cities systems of attraction has rewind my thoughts to that of an over-loaded tourist. The propulsion of the human traffic automatically placed me at a photographer’s disadvantage. The overpowering architecture and their informational components, challenged by physical stamina. The electrical charge I got from these two cities elevated me to eliminate all perceptions I had of these cities.
