Silence the Violence (STV) is a 501(c)(3) committed to empowering teens through music, art, sports, and technology to create positive change, embrace diversity and promote tolerance and harmony. STV provides teens access to programs that build self-esteem, promote awareness, build on their creativity and practice non-violence. We give teens a voice to address the issues they care about and help them find solutions to their problems.
STV’s teen advisory board, H.U.S.H. (Heightening Unity and Support Toward Harmony), gives teens the chance to get involved by voicing their opinions and thoughts on youth violence in their communities and schools, and what they can do to create change. STV believes that through creative outlets we can attack youth violence head on, giving teens the tools they need to grow into successful role models and leaders. We are passionate about joining the fight against youth violence and we encourage everyone to take a stand in saving our children’s lives. |
